Monday To-do: May 24

Question: Did the four and a half hours you spent watching the end of LOST last night wrap anything up for you? Did you get your questions answered? Were you let down?

Wait, let me guess. You’re sooooooo happy it’s over because you’re tired of your friends talking about it when they should be talking about how awesome you are.

It was the last one, wasn’t it? Quit bein’ a downer, dude.

Let’s switch gears and talk about who’s playing in town tonight. And skip the Drive Shaft talk. They played their final show last night.

And speaking of…

Fayetteville is losing a piece of punk tonight as Genome Chomsky takes the stage likely for the last time ever at Smoke & Barrel. It’s a free show, there’s $2 wells, and locals Fauxnz open up. Come say goodbye with us.

Side note: Anybody seen the Garv Fest (July 23-24, Ft. Smith) lineup yet? Two words: Total Knockouts.

There’s more happening tonight. Here’s a list:

Monday, May 24, 2010
Pesto Cafe: Darren Ray
JJ’s Grill n Chill: Jason Plumlee
The Perk: Open acoustic jam
Powerhouse: Maud Crawford
US Pizza Co: Jovan Arellano
Smoke & Barrel Tavern: Genome Chomsky / Fauxnz
