Coming Soon: Bret Michaels, Sep. 16 at the AMP

Three months ago, 47-year-old hair-metal legend Bret Michaels was rushed to a hospital after suffering a massive brain hemorrhage. After surviving the dangerous surgery which soon followed, the former Poison frontman held a news conference in which his surgeon proclaimed, “he is just one of those lucky people.”

No joke.

Most folks would probably chill out a bit after something like that, but Bret Michaels is clearly not one of them. He’s already on tour again and we just got word that he’ll be at the Arkansas Music Pavilion here in Fayetteville on September 16, 2010.

Besides his career as lead singer of Poison, Michaels has recorded several solo albums, appeared on the VH1 reality show Rock of Love, and was the winner of NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice 3.

Tickets go on sale July 31 at amptickets.com.
