City to hold three public meetings on upcoming paid parking changes

Paid parking on and around Dickson Street will be here before you know it. If you’ve got any last-minute questions or concerns regarding the inevitable switch, here’s your chance to speak up.

The city’s Parking and Transportation Department will hold three public meetings to discuss the issue over the next few weeks. Each meeting will be held from 4 – 5 p.m. on July 29, Aug. 5, and Aug. 12.

During the final two meetings (Aug. 5 and Aug. 12), residents and business owners in the Entertainment District will have an opportunity to pick up parking pass enrollment forms.

If you live or work in that area, you should definitely pay attention as this will have a major effect on your parking situation. If you’ve somehow missed out on all the news, here’s a link to all of our coverage.

Anyone who’s not able to attend can watch a video recording of the meetings on the city’s website. Videos will be published the day after each meeting.
