You know what’s so great about weekends? They’re like miniature holidays. You always know when they’re coming and for most folks, they offer a brief opportunity to relax. We grill out, we hang out, and sometimes we even rock out. On second thought, there’s nothing miniature about them at all. In fact, they last two days which is twice as long as a holiday and there’s way more of them.
I have a proposal. Let’s drop the word “the” from the phrase, “It’s the weekend.” After all, we don’t say, “I can’t wait for the Halloween. It’s just as much fun to me as the Christmas.” Also, capitalize that dude.
Thanks to our friends at The Tale of The Tape, we have a new stack of music to listen to all Weekend long. Enjoy.
Happy Weekend!
