Pagnozzi Charities fundraiser set for Sept. 23, 24

Since the organization was founded by former Razorback and major league baseball player Tom Pagnozzi in 1999, Pagnozzi Charities has helped thousands of underprivileged children in Northwest Arkansas with the registration fees and equipment costs associated with sports programs in the area.

This year alone, the organization has awarded over 800 scholarships to local youth.

In just over three weeks, Pagnozzi Charities will host their biggest fundraiser of the year to help continue their mission to help support active kids in Northwest Arkansas, with the 19th Annual Tom Pagnozzi Charity Golf Tournament, Ultimate Tailgate and Sports Memorabilia Auction.

It all starts on Thursday, Sept. 23rd with a 4-person scramble golf tournament at Fayetteville Country Club. Morning and afternoon flights will take place on Friday, September 24th. Golf teams are available for $900, or $225 for an individual, and the fees also include mulligans, tee busters and putting contest entry. Shotgun starts will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, and 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday night, an Ultimate Tailgate and Sports Memorabilia Auction will be held at 7 p.m. at the Fayetteville Town Center. An impressive list of sports collectables and memorabilia will be available for purchase through a silent auction, and there will be live music with Joe Giles and the Homewreckers.

Individual tickets are $35, tables for 10 are $500, and cocktail tables are $200. All proceeds raised will benefit the Pagnozzi Youth Sports Scholarship Fund.
