Poll: Do you usually vote early in elections?

With early voting now underway for this fall’s general election, we were wondering how many of you take the opportunity to cast your vote before the big day.

Some people like to get it out of the way, while others really enjoy getting out to the polls on the day of the election.

Personally, I fall into the “Sometimes” category. Although I do like heading out on voting day with the large crowds, sometimes I know I’ll be busy that day so I take care of it early.

If you’ve never voted early before and want to give it a shot, head over to the Washington County Courthouse at 280 N. College Ave. and walk upstairs to the County Clerk’s office. They’ll get you in and out pretty quickly.

This year, voting hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Note: If you’re a last-minute kind of person and you wait until Monday, Nov. 1, the clerk’s office closes an hour early at 5 p.m.

As always, you can check your registration and view a sample ballot votenaturally.org.
