Fayetteville Underground hosts Ozark Couture Fall: A Wearable Art Event

So, what are you doing Saturday night? I ask, not because I’m trying to ask you on a date or for any other weird reason, but because I am about to tell you about something that’s happening in town. See? Not creepy.

On Saturday, Oct. 23, the fine folks at Fayetteville Underground are teaming up with the other fine folks at Art Amiss to host Ozark Couture Fall-A Wearable Art Event from 6 to 8 p.m.

Seven designers from the region will be showing off their fashionable creations in a “gallery-tableau” event, incuding Melissa Arens, Caylan Hudgens, Christian McGuire, Sarah Norsworthy, Cynthia Parker, Leslie Pennel, and Taylor Sutton.

If you attended First Thursday at the Fayetteville Underground earlier this month, you already have an idea of what kind of items will be offered Saturday. Several of the designers had items on display at First Thursday as a preview to Saturday’s event. All of the wearable art on display will be available for purchase at the show.

Bo Counts (otherwise known as Beat Bachs) will emcee the event, and music will be provided by Eric Jensen (aka DJ EJ).

There’s also an afterparty planned at Whole Earth Organic Lounge, featuring a vegan buffet, and an 80’s themed dance party. Get your fash-on (sorry).
