Wakarusa 2011 festival and campsite dates announced

It may seem a little early to be talking about Wakarusa 2011, but try telling that to anyone who’s missed out on one of the Reserved Campsites in the past and you might just end up with a bare foot in your face. Or a glowstick.

Officials this week announced that Wakarusa will return to Mulberry Mountain on June 2-5, 2011. Reserved Campsites go on sale Friday, Nov. 5 at 12:00 noon.

The Reserved Campsite campground is completely shaded and includes permanent restrooms with showers. The campsites are equipped with electrical and water hook-ups, so they’re ideal if you have an RV. Up to eight (8) campers and two (2) vehicles are allowed at each campsite and the cost is usually about $550-ish. (Note: Price does not included festival tickets, just camping.)

If you’re considering grabbing one of these in 2011, you better think fast. These sites usually sell out in a day or two.
