Parks & Rec seeks input on Gulley Park concert series

  • by Todd Gill, Flyer Staff
    on November 4, 2010 at 10:38 am

The City of Fayetteville Parks and Recreation Department is conducting an online survey about the annual Gulley Park Summer Concert Series. They’re looking for comments and suggestions to help guide the planning of next year’s events.

2011 will mark the 15th anniversary of the summer concert series which takes place at Gulley Park and usually features around a half dozen concerts.

The 2010 season played host to Big’uns, Seth James, Sarah Hughes Band, Joseph Israel, Ben Miller Band, and Full House.

Here are a few of the questions from the survey:

Are there any area bands or genre you would like to see perform at future Gulley Park Summer Concert Series?

How satisfied are you with the choices of food vendors at the Gulley Park Summer Concert Series?

In the event of inclement/severe weather, what GPSCS scheduling alternative would you prefer?

» Visit the Gulley Park Summer Concert Series online survey

Any band or musician looking to be a part of the Gulley Park Summer Concert Series should send promotional materials and a demo CD to Fayetteville Parks and Recreation at:

Fayetteville Parks and Rec
Attn: Gulley Park Concert Series
113 W. Mountain
Fayetteville, AR 72701

I’d like to see Gary Sinise & The Lt. Dan Band play a concert for veterans, service members, & their families on Memorial Day. I know that doesn’t fit the usual bill but it would be awesome.
