Monday To-do: Nov. 29

Whether your tur(or tofur)key is fully digested or not, we’re willing to bet that today’s going to drag along slower than a pair of in-laws who said they were going to leave first thing in the morning, but who were still there at noon and who twice motioned towards the door at around 2 p.m. only to end up starting yet another conversation about their son’s crappy football team and about a recipe for something called “pink salad.” They finally left at 5 p.m.

If you’re still on the edge of your seat with excitement over the Dalai Lama’s visit next year, tonight’s your night. The Fayetteville Public Library is hosting another Dalai Lama Film and Book Series event with the screening of the film Tibet: Cry of the Snow Lion at 7 p.m. If you can’t make it tonight, there’s another screening tomorrow at 7 p.m. inside the UA Student Union. You know what? How about I give you a link to the entire series schedule.

The rest of the list is pretty Monday-ish, but there are a few things to choose from including some live music and a Ward 4 Meeting. You do know what ward you live in, right?
