Young Prisms, Melted Toys, and Niall play The Lightbulb Club tonight, Jan. 27, 2011.

Looking for an excuse to check out a show at The Lightbulb Club now that they’ve started booking bands again? Here’s one: Young Prisms.

The San Francisco-based psychedelic shoegazers are in town tonight, just a little over a week after the debut of their first full-length, Friends for Now. With them are fellow San Franciscans Melted Toys and Fayetteville’s own Niall.

As The Tale of The Tape mentioned earlier today, see Young Prisms while you can. They’re about to head overseas with labelmates Surfer Blood.

Better get there early. It’s a $3 show and the LBC is a small, small room.

There’s a lot more tonight, too, including the public access film screening and gala at the Cosmopolitan Hotel.
