A post that appeared on Willie’s Nelson’s Country Throwdown website Thursday afternoon indicated that the tour will be making a stop at the new performing arts center on July 3, and Osage Creek owner Greg Smith confirmed the show today.

“We haven’t announced it yet, but yes, we’ve definitely got Willie booked,” said Smith.

The tour features country stars Willie Nelson (duh), Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Lee Brice, Brantley Gilbert, Craig Campbell, and Lucas Nelson & The Promise of Real.

From the website:

In addition to the seven main artists performing on two stages, the Bluebird Café Tent will feature six extraordinary singer-songwriters. Fans will get to see these artists perform intimate “in the round” sets in the Bluebird Café Tent throughout the day, as well as nightly performances on a specially designed stage during the main stage set changes. Artists for the Bluebird Café Tent will be announced soon. Willie Nelson’s Country Throwdown will also have a full concourse of lifestyle attractions and sponsors with an affordable ticket price.

Smith said that more shows will be announced very soon, but for now, get ready for some Willie.
