I had a great burger on the first big snow day. When all other resturants were closed they had a great team of employees working a full croud of hungry customers. OMG on the cheese fries! I like the atmosphere of the bar, timing of our food and friendy staff. I’ve gone to another burger joint right here in Fayetteville and we had to wait 30min or more for a so so burger! No way! So JJ’s my place to go for a good beer and juicy burger.

Our service has always been pretty good. And while I am on board with local music, when they play so loud that it is impossible to talk to someone sitting three feet away without using an inside voice, that’s a problem for me. Not everything has to be over the top.

Let’s hear it for a local restaurant that supports the local live music scene every night! I know I can always head to JJ’s for great music and fantastic food! Ever tried the Cheddar Fries Burger?!? OMG! This is my burger craving and believe me it’s worth every calorie! Love you guys at JJ’s and can’t wait for the new location at the Lake!!!

The food is unoriginal, generally drowned in a canned sauce. They claim to use fresh, local products yet neither server I spoke with knew which ingredients were fresh or where anything originated. Like many other restaurants where the service staff seems untrained, the servers had no sanitation standards. My advice is to stick with hugo’s for burgers, as JJ’s seems to be a glorified fast food place.

I knew the result from the last time I had to go there was a crappy burger, so I ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap and fries. I thought to myself….how hard is it to screw that up??

When it came it was drowned in a cheap Buffalo sauce and the peppers that go on it were not drained so they were literally leaking out of the bottom of the flour tortilla!! It was worse than the crappy burger from last time ever thought about being! Out of starvation, I tried to open the wrap and eat the chicken, but it was flat out not palatable! And the fries…..of course they were cold!

I will not go back again!
