Congratulations are in order for Fayetteville singer-songwriter Effron White.
Billboard Magazine recently announced the winners of its 18th Annual Billboard Song Contest and White’s song “Long Haul” won 1st place in the Americana/Folk category.

It’s the second major award for “Long Haul” which took 3rd place American Songwriter magazine’s bi-monthly lyric contest last March.
