Giveaway: Pretty Lights at the Arkansas Music Pavilion

Guess who’s got two pairs of tickets to give away for the Pretty Lights show at the AMP. Hint: It’s the Flyer.

Last time they were in town, Colorado-based duo Pretty Lights sold out the Fayetteville Town Center, shaking the venue with the most bass those four walls have ever felt (well, at least until Bassnectar showed up last month).

In a few weeks, they’ll be back in town to provide the dance beats and laser lights for a party at the Arkansas Music Pavilion on April 22.

The band, featuring producer Derek Vincent Smith and new drummer Adam Deitch, is coming off the release of a trilogy of new EP’s in 2010, along with a 7-track remix album in January 2011. Smith also released two records back in January for artists Paper Diamond and Break Science on his brand new record label, Pretty Lights Music.

St. Louis artist Spankalicious is opening the show, and we’ve got two pairs of tickets to give away. Good luck.

How to enter
Tell us the name of the best band or artist you’ve seen in the last year, and you’re entered. If you didn’t see any good shows in the last year (that’s depressing), just say so, and you’re still entered.

What you’ll win
Two (2) winners will receive two (2) tickets each to see Pretty Lights on Friday, April 22 at the Arkansas Music Pavilion.

A few rules (read ‘em carefully):

  • You may enter this specific contest once.
  • This contest is open to anyone anywhere except Fayetteville Flyer writers, Arkansas Music Pavilion/Walton Arts Center employees, and their immediate family members.
  • Contest is open until 12:00 p.m. CST on Friday, April 1
    Make sure you leave a valid e-mail address when filling out the comment form since that’s how we’ll contact you if you’ve won. Once we notify the winners, you’ll have 24 hours to respond via email to claim your prize.
  • You’ll have to provide us with your first and last name (if you win) and then be prepared to show a valid photo ID when picking up your tickets.
