San Francisco-based The Stone Foxes are one of a handful of artist additions to the 2011 Wakarusa lineup.

San Francisco’s The Stone Foxes, Vermont-based Chamberlin and Fayetteville’s own Where’s Lawrence? will all make appearances at Wakarusa 2011. Another local favorite, Tyrannosaurus Chicken, also made the cut.

Festival organizers last week announced a handful of lineup additions as well as the winners of the 2011 Waka Winter Classic battle of the bands.

“The [Waka Winter Classic] tour is always a bright spot filled with fresh music for the Wakarusa family during the cold winter months,” a spokesperson said on Facebook, “We are constantly blown away each year at the amount of talent that is brewing beneath the fame and fortune of the Midwest music scene.”

The winners, chosen by fans at individual events in their respective cities, receive an invite to perform under the Revival Tent, the second largest stage at Wakarusa.

Don’t forget about the Fayetteville regional Wakarusa DJ Classic! Lots of DJs and electronic musicians are competing for a spot on the lineup as well. Here’s some info:
