Texas singer/songwriter Butch Hancock will play an intimate show at Nightbird Books tonight.

There’s a special show at Nightbird Books tonight.

Bernice and Bryan Hembree (3 Penny Acre) have booked Texas singer/songwriter Butch Hancock for an intimate show at the bookstore on Dickson Street.

From the release

Butch is most well known as one of the most prolific songwriters in Texas. In addition to releasing many of his own albums, his songs have also been recorded by a number of artists including Emmylou Harris. Butch is also a founding member, along with Joe Ely and Jimmy Dale Gilmore, of the supergroup THE FLATLANDERS.

A donation of $10-$20 per person is suggested. 100% of the proceeds will go to Butch.

Also tonight, there’s Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors at George’s Majestic Lounge, Wii bowling at Smoke & Barrel, Ultrasonic Nozzle at FIX, and a ton of more live music options.
