In case you weren’t aware, there’s a treasure trove of vintage goodness, just hanging out on South Street in Fayetteville right now.

It’s called Vintage Foundations, and the store opened on March 1 at 121 W. South St., just across from Ultra Studios.

The space is filled with mid-century modern chairs, dining tables, sofas, antiques, artwork, and other finds from all over the region.

Owner Jay Ward said that things have been going extremely well in the store’s first five-ish weeks of existence.

“We’ve moved a lot of pieces through here,” Ward said. “We’ve also heard a lot of positive comments about the store. It’s been really great.”

One of the pieces that sold recently from the store was a pop-art-style painting of what appears to be Paul McCartney eating a banana. (I scored that one. Sorry, y’all.)

Vintage Foundations is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sunday from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Here are a few photos of the new store.
