Block Street Block Party artist lineups for Tables & Ale, Zone1 DJ stages

Cletus Got Shot is scheduled to play the Tables & Ale stage during the Block Street Block Party on May 22.

Last week, we found out what bands would be playing the Lightbulb Club stage at the May 22 Block Street Block Party. This week, we tracked down the lineups for two more of the planned stages that will be rocking during the event.

Locals Leah & The Mojo Doctors, Groovement, Cletus Got Shot, A Good Fight and Damn Arkansan will play the Tables & Ale stage, located on the patio of the bar and surrounding area, during the Block Party.

The Zone1 DJ Stage, located at the corner of Spring Street, features seven local DJ’s including Xaphan, Krakrjak, Bizar, Ultrasonic Nozzle, Wes Luker, Doohickey and Erratic Ninja.

Music on both stages will begin at around 1 p.m., and the rock (or bluegrass, or funk, or beats) won’t stop until sometime around dusk.

Mike Shirkey is still putting the finishing touches on the The Pickin’ Post stage lineup, and we should have it soon. We’ll keep you posted on that, as well as specific start times for all four stages once that information becomes available.

In case you haven’t heard, the Block Street Block Party is a first-year event scheduled for Sunday, May 22 on the funky little stretch of Block Avenue between Dickson Street and the Fayetteville square.

More than 40 vendors and 20 community groups are confirmed participants, and a Facebook event created for the festival already has over 700 confirmed attendees.

More details to come. Get ready for a block party.

I just now found out about this event. Is it too late to add a vendor?

Hey Michael. Vendor deadline was May 7, but just checked with Hannah at Little Bread, and she said to go ahead and send in your application to blockstreetbusinesses(at)gmail(dot)com

I sent in the application to the gmail address. I just need to know where to take the fee.
