All’s quiet on the Wakarusa front…for now (photos)

With an expected attendance of 20,000 music fans, the Wakarusa grounds at Mulberry Mountain won’t be empty for long.

With arguably the best musical lineup since it moved to Northwest Arkansas two years ago, Wakarusa 2011 is set to be another successful year on Mulberry Mountain.

Not yet, though.

For now, the campgrounds are quiet and the only people near any of the stages are crew members who are busy putting the final touches on another massive festival setup.

By Thursday evening, the empty fields will be full of nearly 20,000 music fans and the stages will be prepped for over 100 bands’ worth of musicians.

We arrived Wednesday afternoon and took a few photos. Enjoy.
