It’s Friday. Want some new local music?
I can think of three local bands/musicians who have new material out on Bandcamp right now, just waiting to be downloaded either for free, or cheap, or name-your-price.
Here are the three albums that I’m thinking of. Get ’em.
Real Live Tigers – Spirit Animals
Real Live Tigers released a full length album entitled Spirit Animal earlier this month, and it’s available to download for $5 on Bandcamp.
The 11-track record was recorded locally at The Listen Laboratory and at East Hall Recording Studios.
Wandering Lake – In Passage
Brian Kupillas, singer and songwriter for local bands Where’s Lawrence? and Swimming has a new solo record called In Passage, released under the moniker Wandering Lake.
The 9-track album is now available to download on a name-your-price basis via Bandcamp.
Future Museums – Pleasure Cruise
Future Museums began as a long-distance collaboration between Neil Lord (Niall, Swimming) and former-Fayettevillian Kale Ogle, who recently moved to Austin.
Please Cruise, the second release for the project was written and recorded entirely by Lord. It’s available to download for free via Bandcamp.
