More 2011 Fourth of July events around Northwest Arkansas

Earlier this week, we posted some information about a few local fireworks displays taking place in and around Fayetteville over the upcoming holiday weekend.

Yesterday, the folks at the Fayetteville Visitors Bureau sent us a long list of Fourth of July festivities taking place all over Northwest Arkansas, including several more fireworks displays and other patriotic events.

We took that list and formatted it a little bit, and placed it at the bottom of this post for your convenience. Find yourself a Fourth of July party.

Friday, July 1

Rocky Branch Independence Day Celebration
Where: Rocky Branch Marina on Beaver Lake
What: Fireworks
Time: 9 p.m.

First Friday: Mom, Baseball & Apple Pie
Where: Bentonville Square
What: An American celebration on the Bentonville Square. Featuring a hot dog eating contest, live music, and special announcements from Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art
Time: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm, 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Uptown Fayetteville Freedom Fireworks and Festivities
Where: Arkansas Music Pavilion
What: Rodney Carrington Show [mature audience only]

NWA Naturals Independence Weekend Celebration
Where: Arvest Ballpark
What: The first of four special firework shows at Arvest Ballpark for the Independence Day weekend. Naturals vs. Corpus Christi Hooks.

Ventris Trails & Resort 10th Annual Fireworks Display
Where: South of Marker 8 on Beaver Lake
What: One of the largest Fireworks shows in Northwest Arkansas. Fireworks can be seen by boat only.

Uptown Fayetteville Freedom Fireworks and Festivities
Where: Arkansas Music Pavilion
What: Family Safety Day
Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Music Festival at The AMP

What: Featuring various performers

Summer Fashion Show

What: Nearly 500 contestants and professional athletes will compete in The 67th Annual Rodeo of the Ozarks in Springdale.

Time: Festivities begin at 4 p.m. with fireworks at dark

NWA Naturals Independence Weekend Celebration

What: The second of four special firework shows at Arvest Ballpark for the Independence Day weekend. US 94 will honor a special veteran in a pre-game ceremony. Naturals vs. Corpus Christi Hooks

NWA Naturals Independence Weekend Celebration
Where: Arvest Ballpark
What: The Independence Weekend celebration continues with more fireworks after Sunday’s game during a performance by the Arkansas Philharmonic. Naturals vs. Corpus Christi Hooks, 6:00 p.m.
Time: 6 p.m.

Monday, July 4

Bentonville’s An Evening in Orchards Park
Where: Orchards Park
What: Live music, fireworks display
Time: Music by Chase Missy at 7:00 p.m. Music by the Arkansas Winds at 8:15 p.m. Fireworks at approx. 9:30 p.m.

Bella Vista Patriots 4th of July Parade
Where: Sugar Creek Shopping Center
What: Parade. Four F-16 Fighter planes will fly over prior to the parade. Jim Swift, a Pear Harbor survivor will serve as parade marshal.
Time: Pre-parade entertainment will begin at 10:30 a.m. and the parade will begin at 11 a.m.

NWA Naturals Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza
Where: Arvest Ballpark
What: Naturals vs. Corpus Christi Hooks, 6:00 p.m., post game fireworks display
Time: Baseball game starts at 6 p.m. Fireworks display will take place after the game
