Razorback fans, we’re almost there.
The official Razorback fan day is scheduled for this Saturday, Aug. 20 at Bud Walton Arena. Two weeks later, the Hogs will kick off the 2011 season on Sept. 3 against Missouri State.
In other words, “Football!”
Fan day festivities will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, with members of the football team on hand to sign autographs. The Razorback spirit squad and mascot Tusk III will also be in attendance for photos, and to get everyone pumped up.
Highlights from the 2010 season will be shown on the video board to further assist in the pumping up process, and concession stands will be open to make sure no one gets too hungry/thirsty.
The event is free to attend, and open to the public.
Last year’s crowd was huge. My uncle and I were the first people in line for Mallet’s signature, but we had to get there at 10:30 for that. I imagine this year might be a little less crazy.
