Allergy-free cooking author coming to Ozark Natural Foods

  • by Dustin Bartholomew, Flyer Staff
    on August 25, 2011 at 10:50 am

Stephanie Hapner is kind of like a rockstar in the allergy-free cooking world.

The author of the cookbook Allergy-Free Cooking Everyone Loves will bring her tour bus (not sure if she has a tour bus) to Fayetteville this afternoon (Aug. 25) to demonstrate some of her allergy-free cooking skillz (with a z) at Ozark Natural Foods from 4-6 p.m.

Hapner honed her gluten-free, dairy-free and casein-free cooking ability when her son was diagnosed with a rare disorder called eosinophilic esophagitis.

She is now nationally recognized as an allergy-free cooking expert by doctors and dietitians and travels the United States teaching about healthy foods and alternative ingredients and recipes.

Hapner will begin her cooking demonstration 4 p.m., and will sign copies of her cookbook immediately afterwards.

For information, visit ozarknaturalfoods.com.
