Local Notes

The U.S. Postal Service Processing and Distribution Facility on City Lake Road was evacuated last night after a suspicious powder was found. There’s still no word on what the substance is. It was baking soda. (KNWA, NWAOnline)

After the Razorback football team dropped in the BCS rankings, despite winning on the road against an SEC team, many were left scratching their heads. Hog Database examines the situation in detail. (Hog Database)

It looks like UA Lot 67, also known as the HPER parking lot, will close on Nov. 12 to make room for the new athletic training facility. Students who parked there are advised to use in Lots 72 and 73. (Arkansas Traveler)
