Arkansas moves up to No. 7 in latest BCS standings

After a hard-fought 31-28 victory over Vanderbilt on Saturday, the Razorbacks jumped three spots in the BCS standings this week.

With losses by Kansas State and Clemson, two teams who were ranked ahead of the Hogs last week, the Hogs moved forward and also leapfrogged Oregon to move to No. 7.

The Hogs have been in the Top 10 of the BCS standings for five consecutive weeks dating back to last year, the longest streak in school history.

Arkansas (7-1, 3-1) remained at No. 8 in both the Associated Press and the USA Today Coaches Polls.

The latest BCS move by the Hogs sets up a Top 10 homecoming matchup in Fayetteville this weekend when Arkansas faces the No. 9 South Carolina Gamecocks.

Kickoff is set for 6:15 p.m. The game will be televised by ESPN.
