Fayetteville Mayor Lioneld Jordan passes out candy during the annual Trick or Treat on the Square Monday afternoon.
Hundreds of local residents turned out for the annual Trick or Treat on the Square hosted by the Fayetteville Visitors Bureau Monday afternoon.
The streets around the square were blocked from traffic to provide a safe area for the event which included carnival games, face painting and costume contests for both children and pets.

Mayor Lioneld Jordan and other city staff were on hand to pass out candy and take donations for a pet food drive benefiting Ranger’s Pantry Pet Food Bank.
