One of the best things about Austin, Texas is the fact that you can find a place to buy a breakfast taco on almost every corner.
If you’ve ever tasted an Austin-style breakfast taco, you know what we mean. If you haven’t tried one, but you’d like to, we’ve got some good news.
Thanks to a new restaurant called Wheels Grill located in the parking lot at the corner of College and Trenton Avenues, you can now get Austin-style breakfast tacos in Fayetteville.
The restaurant officially opened for business on Monday, Dec. 5 but owner Will Glover wasn’t quite set up for taco making when we stopped by this morning. The handful of comments over on the Fayetteville Food Cart Facebook page sound promising, though.
For those keeping score at home, Wheels Grill is the fourth business-on-wheels to open in the College Avenue lot, following Grey Dog Vintage Boutique, Silver Stream Cafe, and an eco-friendly design store called Red Clay.
We’re looking for details on a fifth trailer that’s already located on the property. Sources tell us it’s going to be a brick oven pizza restaurant operated by an existing Fayetteville restauranteur. Update: The fifth airstream will be a Vintage Furniture store called ‘Out on a Whim.’
