Council approves 4.4 miles of sidewalk improvements for 2012
The City Council this week approved a proposal list from the city’s Transportation Division that includes over 30 improvement projects in all four of Fayetteville’s wards.
The City Council this week approved a proposal list from the city’s Transportation Division that includes over 30 improvement projects in all four of Fayetteville’s wards.
The list contains the “must-see travel destinations of 2012,” as compiled by the magazine’s staff, and is made up of cities, countries, and regions from around the globe.
The Fayetteville area climbed 17 spots in the 2011 Milken Institute Best-Performing Cities Index which measures economic and job growth.

After a slow start, the Razorback men’s basketball team bounced back to defeat Eastern Kentucky 71-57 Tuesday night at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville. The Razorbacks are now 7-3 on the season.
