Fayetteville Public Library to offer free computer classes in January

The Fayetteville Public Library will offer a variety of adult computer classes, free of charge, beginning Jan. 10.

Each class runs from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the library’s computer lab.

Admission is free and open to the public, but registration is required for each class. Also, participants must have a current Fayetteville Public Library card, which is free for Washington County residents.

Tuesday, Jan. 10: Word Up
This class will cover the basic use of Microsoft Word.

Wednesday, Jan. 11: Internet Secrets Exposed
This class will feature the “Great Googley Moogley,” who will discuss internet safety and advanced features of Google.

Tuesday, Jan. 17: You’ve Got Mail!
Learn how to keep email boxes organized and spam-free (participants must have a working email address).

Wednesday, Jan. 18: Mousercize This class will cover right-clicking, left-clicking and general “Mousefoolery.”
