Colorado-based Big Gigantic return to Fayetteville to play the Arkansas Music Pavilion on April 21.

Update: Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012
Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 10 at 9 a.m. and can be purchased by calling the Walton Arts Center Box Office at 479-443-5600 or visiting waltonartscenter.org.

Original post: Jan. 31, 2012
Yesterday, we learned that the 2012 Arkansas Music Pavilion season will be held at the Washington County Fairgrounds instead of the Northwest Arkansas Mall.

Buried in the bottom of a related press release was news that the first act at the new location will be Colorado-based electronic duo, Big Gigantic on April 21.

The band was in town for a sold-out show at George’s Majestic Lounge in August, and will be in the area this summer for Wakarusa.

Ticket prices haven’t been announced yet, but officials sat they’ll go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3 at waltonartscenter.org. A Walton Arts Center spokesperson told us this afternoon that the on-sale date has changed, and is unknown at this time. Update: Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 10 at 9 a.m.
