Coming here: Glen Campbell, April 27 at Walton Arts Center

Local Glen Campbell fans will have two chances to see the five-time Grammy-winning country music legend this spring – once on television and once in person.

Besides a Feb. 12 special appearance with The Band Perry and Blake Shelton at the 54th Grammy Awards show, Campbell will be in Fayetteville on Friday, April 27 for a performance at the Walton Arts Center.

The show is part of Campbell’s “Goodbye Tour,” the final string of shows for the 75-year-old musician who last year announced that he is battling Alzheimer’s disease.

Tickets are $43-$79 and go on sale Feb. 16 at waltonartscenter.org.

Campbell, an Arkansas native, will be presented with the Grammy’s highest honor, the Lifetime Achievement Award, this Saturday during the Special Merit Awards Ceremony.
