Savoir-Faire is hosting a DahliaLynn trunk show to kick off NWA Fashion Week, from 5-9 p.m. on March 5.

We’re calling it. Spring, it appears, is springing.

That doesn’t mean that we won’t get a couple inches of snow, ice, or sleet before things warm up for good around here. Chances are, we will, but it sure feels like springtime lately in Northwest Arkansas.

Just look at the signs. The Diamond Hogs have already taken the field. We’re just a few weeks from St. Patty’s Day and Spring Break. Plus, the Fayetteville Farmers’ Market opens April 7.

So we may be a little bit early in considering it spring, but as long as we keep having these sunny 60-degree days, we don’t care what you call it. It’s awesome.

Here’s what’s new from our sponsors this week.

Arts & Events

St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, and Bobbisox is gearing up for a lot of fun with some great drink specials!

George’s has Elephant Revival, Marty Party, Pop Evil, Red Barn Ramblers, Casey Donahew and more this week.

Greenhouse Grille hosts a Fayetteville Roots Festival announcement party March 18.

JJ’s Grill has Tim Meitzen, Jeff Fox, Mo Brothers, Joe Giles & The Homewreckers, and Earl’s Garage this week.

Make sure you like Kingfish on Facebook to keep up with this the spring and summer live music.

It’s First Saturday at Ozark Natural Foods. There’s an art reception, free hypnosis, and a Lunch & Learn. Details.

Smoke & Barrel has Pretty Things Peepshow, Tavern Trivia, Honeyshine, Swimming, Teenagers, and more this week.

Walton Arts Center has TAO: The Art of the Drum, Tia Fuller, and Seth’s Big Fat Broadway show this week.

UARK Bowl has a stand-up comedy open mic night on Thursday, and comic Mike Smith on Sunday night this week.

Drink Specials

Buster Belly’s has $2 domestic bottles, and $2.50 well drinks every Thursday night.
