Fayetteville police say a man under investigation for sexual assault could have more victims.
According to a news release issued Monday afternoon, Gregory McWhorter was arrested in connection with rape and sexual assault of a child. During an investigation into the matter, police said it was discovered that McWhorter wore a disguise and referred to himself as the “boogie man” to his potential victims.

Five victims have already been identified, but investigators believe other children may have been assaulted, the release stated.
Police said anyone with information about the case are urged to call the Fayetteville Police Department at 479-587-3555.
