“I Cleaned Out a Room (In My Trailer for You),” “I Make Faces (When I Make Love),” “I Ain’t Afraid of Your Husband,” and “Rock ‘N Roll is Straight from Hell.”
Those are a sampling of song titles by country singer (sort-of), voice actor, and weirdo Unknown Hinson, who happens to be coming to George’s Majestic Lounge for a show on May 25.
Hinson (born Stuart Daniel Baker) is known for his voice work as the lead character on the Cartoon Network series Squidbillies, and for touring around the country with the likes of Hank Williams III and Reverend Horton Heat.
He’s also apparently Billy Bob Thorton’s favorite songwriter.
Tickets to the upcoming show are $18 in advance ($20 day of show,) and are now on sale at George’s ticketing site.

Unknown Hinson leaves me at a rare loss for words in describing or even deciding whether or how to recommend this music act.
I’ll be there. Dgold, Honest FM
This is awesome. So excited about this show!
Fun Fact I think unknown Hinson also created or writes for or has some sort of affiliation with the show Squidbillies. I’ll probably go.
And by “FACT” I mean it is a fact that I think that’s true.
He does the voice of Early on the show. Chances are if you don’t find Squidbillies funny, you probably won’t get the appeal of Unknown Hinson.
Unknown Hinson is a one of a kind trip. Probably takes a certain sick sense of humor to appreciate, but he knows what womerns likes and keeps pumping out those chart toppin hits.
And Squidbillies is hilarious. “Lord, thankya for the untimely frost you sent what claimed our pointless bananer orchard. Oh I was a fool to plant bananers on a mountain, you made sure of that.”
