Taiwanese animators take on Bobby Petrino scandal

  • by Dustin Bartholomew, Flyer Staff

Video still

The Bobby Petrino scandal that led to his dismissal as head football coach at Arkansas has officially gone international.

Taiwanese company Next Media Animation, known for its animated takes on current events, released a brief re-telling of Petrino’s recent antics.

The video includes a football staff member morphing into an elephant in a press conference room, an inappropriate relationship on a motorcycle, and a Razorback head-butting Petrino out of a window.

It also includes the lines, “Petrino has a well earned reputation as a disingenuous phony, but teams will hire him anyway. Which team will he coach next?”

It’s embedded below, and is possibly not safe for work (depending on where you work). Just, FYI.

Okay, someone please explain to me the elephant part? It’s late and I’mt tired or maybe my RBG is rearing it’s ugly head but I don’t get it.
