Nearly three dozen Ford Model T cars sat in the parking lot at Comfort Inn and Suites Thursday morning. The Arkansas Tin Lizzies, a chapter of the Model T Ford Club of America, arrived yesterday for their 2012 Springtime in the Ozarks tour.

Clif Bar & Company, a 20-year-old manufacturer of energy bars headquartered in Emery, Calif., will soon open a regional sales office on Dickson Street.

City officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony yesterday to celebrate a new kiosk placed near the southern trail entrance of Mount Sequoyah Woods. The sign illustrates and describes the natural trails, flora, and wildlife of the area.

The Bobby Petrino scandal has officially gone international. Taiwanese company Next Media Animation, known for its animated takes on current events, released a brief re-telling of Petrino’s recent antics.

Fayetteville Roots Festival organizers confirmed today that legendary singer/songwriter John Prine will co-headline the four-day festival set to begin Aug. 23.

The original Béla Fleck and the Flecktones lineup is on tour, and stops in town tonight for a 7 p.m. show at the Walton Arts Center. Tickets range from $28 to $52 at waltonartscenter.org.

Also tonight, Randy Rogers Band is at George’s, TheatreSquared’s “The Fall of the House” opens at Nadine Baum Studios, and Cindy Woolf is at Kingfish.
