The 2012 Arkansas Music Pavilion season kicks off tonight at the venue’s new location inside the Washington County Fairgrounds with a performance by Cake.

Arkansas Music Pavilion officials led a media tour Wednesday afternoon of the AMP’s new location at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Here are some photos.

Creative home builder Dan Phillips of The Phoenix Commotion, will speak at Mount Sequoyah Retreat Center on Saturday, April 21.

An local Fayetteville Freethinker seems to be serious about the following offer: Deliver me a Bigfoot, receive my house.

Cake

Cake will take the stage tonight for their second appearance at the Arkansas Music Pavilion. The band last played in town at the AMP in 2009 when the venue was still at the Northwest Arkansas Mall. Tonight’s show is the first at the AMP’s new location in the Washington County Fairgrounds.

Also tonight, TheatreSquared begins its second week of “The Fall of the House,” Smoke & Barrel has Matt & Gus, Kingfish has Starroy and Walton Arts Center has Mary Poppins.
