Marion,
We hope you will join us for the festival. We are attempting to create festival ticket packages with multiple ranges of prices. We are also attempting to showcase Fayetteville and our music/food scene to fans from the wider region and nation. We will also have free stages across town at the Fayetteville Farmer's Market, Fayetteville Public Library, and Greenhouse Grille.

This year we have extended the festival to four days this year. The $249 pass is for all four days and includes food. This is the FULL pass. We have had many folks that have expressed an interest in getting to see all 40+ bands and having a food pass too.

The $189 Pass is for Friday and Saturday, all stages and late night stages, and includes food.

The $149 Pass is for the four mainstages at the Walton Arts Center (Friday and Saturday) and includes food.

Consider the breakdown on the $149 Pass: $30 for two gourmet weekend meals. That leaves $119 for music. Typical David Grisman only concert ticket is around $40. Typical John Prine only ticket is $65. That means the festival is adding 28 additional artists for only $14. 50 cents to see any of the remaining artists? A heck of a deal. Add in the fact that the festival is supporting two non-profits, FEED FAYETTEVILLE and the FOLK SCHOOL OF FAYETTEVILLE, and promoting Fayetteville to the region and nation!

These packages are comparable to other festivals with similar and significant line-ups. The difference and the advantage of Fayetteville Roots is: 1. You don't have to compete with thousands of folks in a field to enjoy the music. 2. You don't have to drive/fly hundreds/thousands of miles to do so. 3. Fayetteville Roots is an intimate festival that focuses on "listening room" style stages. 4. When you get hungry, you will be nourished by an amazing festival meal prepared by local chefs using local food versus traditional festival food.

In the coming months other ticket packages will go on sale, including similar packages without food, George's Majestic Two Day Late Night Pass for $49, and a limited number of single day tickets for Friday or Saturday only.

BC,
Thanks for your interest. We have had a few folks as about tickets to see John Prine only. All of our artists are appearing in a festival environment. This means that a ticket for Saturday will include John Prine and 14 other artists throughout the afternoon and evening. We assure you that you will discover a new artist. Someone that you have never heard of but that will blow you away. Most folks that have come the past two years have expressed their delight at the quality of music from the bottom to the top. We hope you will come and enjoy all of the amazing artists on the roster, including our headliners John Prine and David Grisman.

Thank you to everyone involved in bringing all of these amazing artists to Fayetteville! What an awesome opportunity to see some legends in our own hometown. Any info on whether or not we can buy tickets to individual shows?
