I second the call for some healthy snacks. Fresh brewed iced tea (not the sugary bottled kind), bananas, nuts, not too sugary trail mixes, etc. would be great. Bonus points if you carried some locally-made items like fresh baked muffins. Glad to see this going in.

That is correct. But their stand is taken up by their bikes and access to that back door isn’t ideal. BUT! they are planning to improve their space with a patio. At least that’s what I understood to be the plan when I spoke with them. Let’s hope they do it right with shade, tables, chairs, and a popcorn machine.

A little bit of fayetteville music history. This is the same spot that Grandpa’s Goodtime Fandango had as a rehearsal spot for five years from 1999 to 2004. G. Love and Grandpa’s once jammed till the wee hours right where that Slim Jim container is located.

here’s a free business tip: DO WHATEVER YOU CAN to secure that tobacco licence and then UNDERCUT Roger’s Rec cig prices by as much as you can. even if you can get your cig prices lower than $.25 less than the Rec, you’ll be slammed with business (word will get out quickly) and those patrons are likely to keep coming back and buy additional items. Obviously make sure you have the ability to swipe credit cards.

Powdered donuts go well with a weekend bike ride.

After all these years it’s nice to see someone realize and take advantage of the trail. No, a sun drenched food trailer on a slab of concrete at North Street doesn’t count. What business genius thought bikers and walkers would hang out on a barren slab of concrete in 100 degree weather?

Phat Tire, how about putting in a trail side bike stand for your customers? Oh, and a popcorn machine.
