Remember last year when students from Fayetteville High School created a continuous-shot video set to the music of Katy Perry’s “Firework?”
That was sooooo 2011.
The 2012 class filmed their own lip dub video earlier today (April 25), and it is already available on YouTube.
The video begins with a student writing a note, and passing it though the classroom. From there, it’s similar to the 2011 video, and features a continuous shot through the halls of the high school, ending in a pep-rally-style celebration outside.
This year’s video is set to Hall & Oates 1980 song, “You Make My Dreams Come True,” and features most of the student body, including about 50 clubs and organizations from the school.
Watch it above. Good job, Fayetteville High students.

Phenomenal music video work FHS!
So cool. Hats off to these kids!
Class of 02 here. It’s hard to believe these kids were 7 or 8 when we graduated. Man time flies.
That’s my baby girl at 1:44 holding the Sociology sign! Way to go FHS!!
I probably won’t have been smart enough to think this was cool when I went to FHS. Well done.
