It was by far the best concert I saw last year…and that includes all the sets I saw at South By Southwest n 2011.

I prefer small clubs to “seated” arenas (I want to be up front, sweating and pumping my fist right in front of the band), and tickets under $20 (for example, the first time I saw Wilco it was opening night of the Being There tour in Raleigh, NC – I think I paid $6 for my ticket – so seeing them at the AMP for >$40 is reason to sit that show out). But that Bon Iver show in KC last fall justified my getting over myself and my self-imposed concert “rules.” If there are tickets to this show left, I highly recommend it.

I went to see Lisa Lampinelli up there and that theater is awesome! Wish we had multiple venues like Tulsa and Springfield down here.

Saw Waters preform this show a while back in KC and it was well worth it, outstanding production and the only concert where I felt a lump in my throat due to the visual display, quite moving.
