First Thursday Fayetteville kicked off another season last month on the downtown square.

One of Fayetteville’s favorite events returned last month for a new season, and it’s back tonight for another episode. This month’s First Thursday art walk on the square kicks off at 5 p.m.

In case you missed the news, First Thursday now includes the entire square to allow for more artists and an expanded kids zone.

Chase Stites

At least 35 artists and craftspeople will have their work for sale, including jewelry from Erica Marz, textiles from Katherine Cloud and paintings by Tyler Arnold.

Tulsa-based musician Chase Stites will supply tonight’s live music.

The beer garden, normally located on the Town Center Plaza, will move to the east side of the square due to a scheduling conflict at the Town Center. Proceeds will benefit the Fayetteville Underground artists this month.

Don’t forget that parking on all the streets and public lots around the square is free after 5 p.m. Even the Town Center parking deck offers free parking for the event. Not tonight, says the Town Center staff. They’ve got a special event and the deck is off limits.

Several merchants will stay open later than usual this evening including Flyer Sponsors The Mustache Goods & Wears, Riffraff, and Savoir-Faire.

Expect snacks and drinks at The Mustache, a special sale rack at Savoir-Faire, and some new Arkansas tank tops in stock at Riffraff.
