2012 Harvest Music Festival tickets on sale May 4

  • by Todd Gill, Flyer Staff
    on May 4, 2012 at 10:23 am

Tickets for the 2012 Yonder Mountain String Band Harvest Music Festival are set to go on sale sometime today (Friday, May 4).

Officials announced that tickets would go on sale at 10 a.m. CST, but as of 10:25 a.m., it was unclear as to whether the ticket info had been updated from last year. The URL for the ticket page still reads “2011″ and text underneath the pricing area also indicated it was for “2011.” For that reason, we’re hesitant to link to the ticketing page. Check yonderharvestfestival.com for that link. We’re still waiting to hear back from the Harvest folks about that.

Update: Harvest officials confirmed all tickets purchase are indeed for this year’s event.

This year’s festival is set for Oct. 11-13. That’s a day less than it was in 2011.

The location remains unchanged, though, as things will continue this year on Mulberry Mountain (home of Wakarusa) near Ozark, Arkansas.

The lineup has yet to be released, but we expect an announcement in late May/early June.

Pollstar gives us a few hints with Elephant Revival, Brother Joscephus, The Hillbenders, Tauk, and Delta Rae listed as performers. Expect plenty more, though. Last year’s festival included 45 bands.

Yonder Mountain String Band Harvest Music Festival

When: Oct. 11-13, 2012
Where: Mulberry Mountain near Ozark, Ark.

@MulberryMountain joined Instagram recently. @MulberryMtn on Twitter. Both accounts are for the Mulberry Mountain Ranch, venue site of these festivals. They’re open with cabin rentals and camping even when it’s not a festival weekend.

    See you there!
