The lineups for the six music stages at the upcoming Block Street Block Party were released Friday along with several other details about the event.

This week’s public meetings include the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board on Monday, the Walton Arts Center Council on Tuesday and the Environmental Action Committee on Thursday. Full list here.

Arkansas blues legend Michael Burks died yesterday following an apparent heart attack. According to a statement from record label owner Bruce Iglauer, Burks collapsed in customs at the Atlanta International Airport after returning from a European tour.

Burks’ death came just two days after the death of another legendary musician. Adam “MCA” Yauch, the rapper and co-founder of hip-hop trio the Beastie Boys, died Friday after a three-year battle with cancer.
