News Briefs

Work continues this week on artist Patrick Dougherty’s stickwork sculpture in front of the Walton Arts Center.

It’s Election Day, so don’t forget to vote. Today’s election will decide the winners of the preferential primaries, nonpartisan judicial general elections, and the fate of a proposed sales tax to fund public transit. If you aren’t sure where to vote, head over to Arkansas’ Voter View website and enter your name and date of birth to see a sample ballot for your district, and to find your voting location.

A fleet of food trucks will be in town this weekend to film an episode of Food Network’s The Great Food Truck Race.

Another Art Amiss music compilation is now available for download on Bandcamp.

Slim Chickens is giving away a road trip package to anywhere in the world this summer. That news and more in this week’s Flyer Sponsor post.
