The road to Omaha will lead through Houston for the Razorback baseball team this year.

The Diamond Hogs were selected as the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament Houston Regional, and will face Sam Houston State at 1 p.m. on Friday in the first round.

If Arkansas is able to get past Sam Houston State, they’ll face the winner of top-seeded Rice and No. 4 seed Prairie View A&M at 6 p.m. on Saturday in the double-elimination-style tournament.

Should Arkansas win the regional, they’ll advance to face the winner of the Waco Regional, featuring Baylor, Dallas Baptist, UT Arlington, and Oral Roberts.

The Razorbacks enter the tournament with a 39-19 overall record. This season marks their 11th consecutive tournament appearance and their 25th appearance in program history.

Arkansas is 55-51 all-time in the NCAA Tournament, including a 41-35 mark in the regional round. The Razorbacks have advanced to six College World Series and four Super Regionals.
