Justin Timberlake is in Fayetteville to emcee the Walmart shareholders meeting

Justin Timberlake addresses the international crowd in attendance at the annual Walmart shareholders meeting at Bud Walton Arena.

It’s not everyday that musician-turned-actor Justin Timberlake shows up in Fayetteville to emcee the annual Walmart shareholders meeting.

It’s today. Today’s the day that happens.

Timberlake appeared on stage in a grass skirt with a Hawaiian lei on his head just after 7 a.m. to entertain the international crowd in attendance at Bud Walton Arena.

“It’s 7:20 a.m. That’s how Walmart does it? I need to work on my schedule,” he joked.

After giving shout-outs to the various regions represented at the meeting, Timberlake led the crowd in the “Walmart Cheer,” and left the stage for the moment.

Country stars the Zack Brown Band also performed at the meeting just after 8 a.m. this morning.

Anyone spot any other celebrities in town for the meeting?

You’ve obviously seen more chimps than most normal people. JT has been great on SNL, was solid in The Social Network, Southland Tales… kid’s got talent.

Normal people? OK, you’ve “Justified” his lameness. Get it……Justified. How big a sellout could someone be. It’s only the world’s largest retailer. 9 out 10 monkeys agree.

Does working for money mean he’s a sellout? I think it’s a good career move. One fat, easy paycheck. JT is a pimp!

Those chimps only seemed like better actors because they were acting with Ronald Reagan.

Lol, I vote “Wannual Almart Shareholders Meeting” as the best event title of the week.
Anyone know how much celebrity appearances get paid?

Sellout indeed in this situation, which I would be too, but I will stand behind his acting ability. Alpha Dog was not too shabby
