You know how we’re always talking about how much we love our sponsors? Well, nothing has changed on that front. We’re still crazy about those local places.
There are several reasons for this. They are the business owners who have decided that free access to news and information in Fayetteville is important and worth supporting.
They’ve also decided Fayetteville Flyer readers are exactly the type of people they want to do business with, and they are generally the most interesting, unique, local, progressive, and innovative businesses in town.
Fayetteville would be a very different city without these awesome, locally-owned places, and we couldn’t be happier to be associated with them.
That’s exactly how we feel about our newest sponsor, Fresco Cafe and Pub.
Fresco Cafe opened back in September of last year, and has been delighting diners ever since with their delicious sandwiches, paninis, flat bread pizzas, soups and salads.
The restaurant recently added some new dinner entrees as well, and is quickly becoming known for its delicious specialty drinks, and great patio with views of downtown, and historic Old Main on the University of Arkansas campus.
Every Thursday night, Fresco Cafe serves their signature hot wings for just 60ยข each, and Fridays are “Catfish Fridays,” featuring two large, domestic, farm-raised catfish filets, homemade cole slaw, Italian potatoes and hushpuppies for $10.95.
On the weekends, the Fresco transforms into a nightclub called Club Lush, featuring some of the best DJs in the region, who play some amazing dance music every Friday night from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
It’s an awesome place, with delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere. Stop by and tell them thanks for helping to support free news in Fayetteville.

Fresco is totally good. Eat it.
Is this across the street from the city building on the square?
Hey Arch. It’s actually right across Center Street from the Bank of Fayetteville, on the ground floor of the E.J. Ball Building.
It’s in the E.J. Ball building next door to Bliss cupcakes. It’s very nice and the food is delicious.
This restaurant is terrific! Great views out the big windows.
