If eating chicken wings is your favorite activity in all the world, and your favorite local musicians are Darren Ray and Isayah Warford, then it is possible that Saturday, June 16 could be the greatest day of your life.

The 8th annual Wingfest, sponsored by local radio station 98.3 The Keg, is set for Saturday in the parking lot of the Northwest Arkansas Mall.

Admission is $5, and attendees will be able to sample various styles of chicken wings prepared by several area restaurants, and vote on their favorites.

Local musicians Darren Ray and Isayah Warford will perform, there will be a wing eating contest, and all of the proceeds of the event benefit 7 Hills Homeless Center, Alzheimer’s Association and the Humane Society of the Ozarks.

The event starts at 6 p.m., and advance tickets are available at Something Urban on Dickson Street. Tickets will also be available at the gate the day of the event, or by calling the Alzheimer’s Association (479) 273-5559 or the Humane Society of the Ozarks (479) 444-7387.
